| The Art of Bird Photography II by Arthur Morris |
|
That was more years ago than either Artie or I would like to count. But during those years Artie has accomplished more than most do in a lifetime. He has instructed more birding photo tours than any other pro that I am aware of, had thousands of images published and now has completed his second book which is on CD. Even with all his success, he continues to raise the bar higher for himself both photographically as well as in the business arena. Arthur Morris' latest endeavor, The Art of Bird Photography II, shows not only Artie's growth as a photographer but also his drive to try new things such as a publishing his own work. The Art of Bird Photography II takes up where his first book left off, specifically addressing the changes brought by the digital era. New equipment, techniques and storage media have taken photographers to new and often more creatively pleasing levels. However, only Arthur Morris can teach those dedicated to photographing birds the techniques he has perfected. Contained on Arties CD are images that will inspire the nature photographer. Artie has obviously embraced the new technology and mastered it as these photos demonstrate. Whether the viewer is a nature photographer, birder, or naturalist the images clearly show the beauty and gracefulness of the subjects. The Art of Bird Photography II is remarkable and educational. This CD contains all the information a beginning digital photographer needs, and has many important tips for the more advanced photographer. While digital equipment and processing are key topics on this CD, new techniques and locations are covered extensively. Artie shares his experiences and has references through the work to other sources that the reader will value.
